Nick Seely, Inspiring Photographer

Born April 25th, 1993 in Atlanta, GA, Nick Seely grew up as an only child. Since age thirteen, Nick has always loved art and photography. All throughout high school, he had award-winning artwork within his school’s art show. Shortly after graduating high school, Nick moved to Myrtle Beach South Carolina.
Currently, Seely studies at Horry Georgetown Technical College. He has plans of majoring in business with a minor in photography. Nick not only enjoys photography, but he also has an interest in a slight more vulgar type of art influenced by an artist by the name of Allex Pardee. Mr. Pardee’s artwork would remind you of something you would see in a tattoo parlor. Paintings of demon like looking animals with a mixture of abstract are just a few examples. On a more subtle side, Nick enjoys photos in National Geographic. He has hopes of someday taking photos for similar magazines. Locally, Nick sells some of his artwork in North Myrtle Beach.  He also works at Abercrombie and Fitch to help support himself through college. However, with hopes of being a “big-time” photographer, Nick plans to move somewhere like California where his idol, Allex Pardee, is from.
All in all I find Nick Seely to be the normal, motivated, young adult with hopes and dreams. I find his taste in the artwork of Allex Pardee interesting and odd due to the graphic nature of his paintings, and this makes me believe that Nick might have a bit of a dark side to him. I feel I can relate to Nick’s odd interest, due to the fact that I study dentistry. Most people would not want to stick their hands in others mouths. We both have interests in odd art forms.
