To
get Quentin Gore's attention really quick, all you have to do is drive by with
a nice truck. Quentin was born in Loris and raised in
Aynor, South Carolina and the only thing he loves more than hunting is driving his truck. He
currently is attending Horry Georgetown Technical College for an Associate’s Degree in Science with
an emphasis on Business. Although his transition into college has been great, he is
already missing High School where he played baseball, football, and basketball.
When
he was growing up, he could tell Aynor was perfect for him, and has no
intention of leaving even after he graduates. He likes how
it is a small town where everyone knows each
other. He is the type of guy who prefers dirt
roads over a paved one; he would rather drive through a foot of mud than drive on the interstate.
He enjoys the outdoors and tries to stay as active as possible, weather he is hunting,
playing a sport, or just hanging out
with friends, he is rarely not busy. As active as he stays, he
usually needs a nice cold drink. I call him crazy but he has a Yeti Cooler which is a 300$ Cooler which
stays in the back of his truck that is usually filled with water, coke or Mountain Dew.
I
have only attended 2 classes with Quentin and I can already tell he is a laid back,
chill and easy going person. When I asked him to
describe himself he replied "I would consider myself as tall, tan, athletic, and
understanding", and I would agree! One interesting fact about Quentin is that he really likes expensive
glasses, whether they are Ray Bans, Costas or Oakley’s you can almost guarantee he will be wearing them.
Another thing he really cares about is his family; he has one brother and one sister and
lives with his parents.
Although
he is only 18, he has a pretty good plan for himself after he graduates and
gets his degree. He plans on graduating and finding a
job with his degree. He plans on staying in Aynor, finding a wife and starting a family, he
will be willing to relocate but that is only if he has too. He has a dream truck of owning a 2500 GMC
Sierra Denali, with the biggest size of a Yeti Cooler possible in the bed of it. Although his
dreams are high, with the ambition and motivation he has I think he has potential to make all of his
dreams come true, and than some.
